51st Annual Conference of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN) on the theme Reflections on Nigeria’s Post-Colonial Conflicts: The Search for Historical Depth and Resolution at the University of Jos Multipurpose Auditorium (Monday - Friday, May 1 – 5, 2006).


1st Regional Conference on the theme Oil Exploitation, Internal Imperialism and Niger Delta Crises. This conference was organized by the Department of History and International Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria (Thursday – Saturday, July 27 – 29, 2006). Paper Presented: The Niger Delta Question and DerivationPolitics in Nigeria.


2nd Annual Conference on African Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Held in Nassarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria (Otober 2006). Paper Presented: Indigenous Knowledge system in Akwa Ibom State: The role of Eyei as a symbol of social and spiritual Practices in Pre-Ibibioland, Nigeria.


International Conference on Fifty Years of Pan-Africanism in Africa, 1958 – 2008. This Conference was organized by New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and Pan-African Historical Society (PAHS) in collaboration with the Department of History & International Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria and hosted at the University of Uyo (Town Campus) Uyo, Nigeria (Monday – Friday, September 8 – 12, 2008). Paper Presented: The Italian Invasion of Ethiopia in the 1930sand the Pan African Response.


Orientation Seminar Organized by the Nigerian Mission for Africa Evangelism (NMAE). This event was organized by the NMAE to boost missionary activities in Liberia and other African Countries and was hosted by the Church of Christ – Nigeria, #170 Ikot Ekpene Road, Uyo (July 17 – 23, 2010). Paper Presented: International Diplomacy and the Nigerian Mission for Africa.


International Conference on Diplomatic History on the theme African Diplomacy: From Earliest Times to 2010. The Conference was hosted by the Department of History, University of Abuja, Nigeria (September, 25 – 26, 2012). Paper Presented: Pre-Colonial Diplomacy in Ibibioland: From the Earliest Times to 2010.


1st National Conference on the Discipline of History and Its Conversation with Diversity in Nigerian Universities: Trends, Issues and Question Marks hosted by the Department of History and International Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria (Wednesday – Friday, February 20 – 22, 2013). Paper Presented: History and the Necessity of Adjunct Disciplines in Nigerian Universities.


Conference on Calabar through Time: Issues and Challenges hosted by the Calabar Study Group, University of Calabar International Study Centre, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria (Wednesday – Saturday, April 24 – 27, 2013). Paper Presented: Urban Renewal, Tourism and Culture: A Study of Calabar through Time.

Organized by the Graduate Africanist Organization and the History Department at the University of Texas at Austin, The United States of America (USA) April 3 – 5, 2015. International Conference (2017) of the Centre for Deep Dialogue and Critical Thinking (CDDCT) in collaboration with Dialogue Institute, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA held in the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria (Monday – Friday, May 08 – 12, 2017). I was appointed a Dialogue Ambassador following the inauguration ceremony and training of participants.
